While Duality incorporates a comparable dragon element, most players express preference for the original’s more diverse aesthetic approach and color spectrum. The AWP | Doodle Lore featured a wear range spanning 0.00 to 0.80, enabling availability across all exterior conditions. Meanwhile, Duality maintains a wear threshold limited to 0.00 through 0.70. Should Valve elect not to adjust this ceiling, any Duality skins existing within the 0.7 to 0.8 float spectrum would become exceptionally scarce and valuable. Owners possessing Duality specimens approaching 0.8 rarity might consider capitalizing on this potential market anomaly.

Valve has received notification regarding this inconsistency, and the matter remains under active investigation.

The CSGO player base currently exhibits divided opinions regarding Duality versus Doodle Lore. Some appreciate the replacement skin’s design philosophy, while others remain emotionally attached to the original pink AWP concept. The initial creator of Doodle Lore has additionally proposed redesigning the skin should Valve express interest. The possibility exists that Valve might accept this offer and reintroduce a revised version of the contentious Doodle Lore to CSGO.
